The Academy of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology was established to maintain the long tradition of high standards of Board Certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). The Academy strives to maintain the highest standards of professional training and ethics for those engaged in the delivery of clinical child and adolescent psychology. The Academy further strives to serve both the professional members and the public by planning and promoting the highest standards in mental health care for children and adolescents. Diplomates, those having been Board Certified, in the specialty of clinical child and adolescent psychology have been recognized as pioneers and leaders in the delivery of clinical services, education, and research.
