The Board
The Purpose of the Board is to:
Maintain Executive Officers
Maintain Board Certified members (Fellows)
Select or appoint American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology Directors. Functions as a membership body for the specialty of clinical child and adolescent psychology. Provides the ABPP Board of Trustees and the ABCCAP feedback from a broader base. Provides leadership in the recruitment of candidates. Promotes the value of board certification. Presents programs of continuing education. Identifies potential, eligible examiners for the ABCCAP. Serves as a liaison with professional groups. Provides advocacy with professional, service systems and governmental bodies.
